Transporting Supplies

In January 2019, C.A.R.E. filled a couple of Soul Dog Rescue vans heading down to the reservation to help the strays and other dogs living outside. We sent donated igloos, dog beds, dog coats (large private donation), pet food, blankets, collars, leashes and other supplies. The picture of the dogs hanging out at gas stations looking for handouts is a very common sight as well as a mama dog searching for scraps. It is extremely sad how many stray and unwanted animals there are living on tribal lands. This is why spay and neuter intervention is such a high priority in these areas so that there are less animals in the future struggling to survive on their own.
